Reconstruction from distributed fragments. By design.

Beyond succession there is one final protocol. Resurrection is the mechanism by which KEPOS can be fully restored after the complete loss of its infrastructure. Not from a backup and not from a restore point: from fragments distributed across 16 independent jurisdictions using Shamir Secret Sharing with an 11-of-16 reconstruction threshold. Each fragment is held by an independent node that does not know what it holds, where the other fragments are, or who the other custodians are. Restoring the system requires 11 of the 16 nodes to agree, through cryptographic consensus, that the reconstruction conditions have been met. No single authority can compel enough fragments, seize enough nodes, or destroy enough jurisdictions. The full configuration is reconstructed from the fragments and a new instance is deployed on clean infrastructure, in a jurisdiction selected by the protocol. Continuity is not a promise. It is an engineered property of the system.
